This splitter does let you optionally select a fixed rate that the source should conform to. This solved a problem for me where the source would get confused when an Onkyo receiver was connected but off and a 720P TV was also connected. The source would constantly switch back and forth between 1080k and 720p. With this splitter I can force the rate to always be 720p. **Q: Why are the blue output numbers just blinking and I can’t get a signal? It seemed to work fine with 1 device output hooked up but not with 3 devices** A: I am not 100% sure but if the settings on the splitter is for 4K resolution then all devices connected on it need to be hdcp2.2 compliant else what you are experiencing might happen. **Q: Will this support 50 foot cables?
