They fit my stingray just fine. **Q: Just got these. Aren't the ferrules supposed to fit over the peg? What am I missing?** A: That sounds like a miss-match. To be honest... I use them for tuning the snare on the Cajon Drums I make. I just toss the ferrules. My most recent discovery is that the screw is also a tensioning device. Back it off a bit and it gets smooooother. **Q: Will these fit a mexican (mim) standard precision? what size are the bushings?** A: They fit my aftermarket fender j- bass neck, so most likely they will fit the p- bass also. Try to fit the grommet in the hole, they may be a little tight, but a gentle tap with a hammer or sanding the grommet should help. **Q: Would these fit a Squire Precision bass?** A: I put them on my Fender J Bass and they fit fine. I did have to do a tiny bit of adjusting though. I like the low price - very affordable. I dislike the chipped paint/finish on one of the paddles. I dislike having to drill new screw holes for mounting. I like that they covered the old screw holes. I dislike the play in the peg when de-tuning.
