Β Recently my wife started running after a year break after having our first born child and her ball of foot started hurting, we tried some home remedies but the pain would come back in a couple days, we even thought of getting it checked at the doctor, but then one day I stumbled upon this facebook post about metatarsal pain symptoms that matched, some exercise and recommendation to try on these ball of foot cushions to help, and they were inexpensive, so I ordered them for her. Surprisingly, she tried them on, wore it for a couple days and felt some difference but when she took them off and roamed around the house the pain came back again, so i suggested she keep wearing them for a week or two and it's been two weeks now and she is running in them all the time. Heads up though you might either need to use the medical tape rolled around it to keep it in place or wear tight sports socks. I wear them too these days. Love the cold feeling it gives on the ball of foot due to the silicone material it's made of. Definitely buying another pair. That was very nice of them and much appreciated. I have not tried the new set, but I am giving them to another parson to try out and they'll let me know if I just got some funky ones the first time around. Please be sure to read my initial review below.I wanted to love these. I NEEDED to love these. The ones that go around your toes do not stay in place. It doesn't matter how tight the sock is. I tried the other pair that stick to the bottom of your shoe, and the top protective coating peeled off. It caused a friction hole in my new sock, and I got a nasty blister. Delivering mail with a nasty blister is no fun. I only gave them two stars instead of one because the gel does provide some cushioning, even if it's short lived. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seem to be Working *by R***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2017* So far these cushions are helping. I won't really know if they are really keeping my metatarsalgia from being bothersome until I have worn them for awhile. They are comfortable and although I would love to be able to wear the cushions with the toe loop, they just don't stay placed in my sandal.
