I have a couple of other boards with more expensive parts, and this didn't feel significantly less. The bearings are smooth, the wheels are sufficiently soft, and the board flexes enough to prevent a rough ride but not so much as to feel flimsy. It's not as thick as my Santa Cruz board, but I didn't feel like the board was going to snap. I'm 205 lbs, and I think this board holds up up very well to my weight. The look is very clean, too.
