I started the weaning process at 4 weeks with milk replacer and dry food mixed to a gruel but my puppies started getting really bad diarrhea for a few days & 3 pups only wanted to nurse from mom which made the diarrhea worse because they didn’t want to eat their dry food gruel. The runt was gaining weight slowly but he started getting a tummy and the other two skinny babies gained their normal weight back in about a week. I love that this product smells so good and my puppies love it. They smell the bottle and start licking. The picture of the puppy by herself is one of the puppies that was on this product and gained weight from it. She is now healthy and back to normal weight. Most of the people that buy this product use it for their adult underweight dogs and I wasn’t sure what the results were gonna be with my 6 week old puppies. But they are now almost 8 weeks and they’re back to normal so the results were amazing!
