It’s nice for the price. Firm yet bouncy. Maybe not memory foam but there if some thin cushion in there. Its a regular mattress no its not euro top but you can tell that from the photos. It hasn't been slept on yet but a nice mattress topper will probably do the trick, especially if you're on a budget. I think its a good starter twin mattress for my kid. I probably wouldn’t purchase it in a larger size though.Update 2: This mattress surprised me! Its nice and firm after a few days of fully expanding it sleeps good. I napped on it to test it out myself. I had to come back and change my review. 5 stars! Then I added a mattress protector due to aging dogs, well I couldn’t figure out why I already have divots in this bed, thought maybe I got a dud, but washing my sheets this weekend I figured the protector has been on almost 2 weeks, let’s just wash it all! Boy do I feel silly, this mattress needs “fresh air” too! As soon as I removed sheets and mattress protector the bed started to re-fluff! Came rolled and wrapped up and began to inflate as soon as I took off the first layer of plastic (which I don’t think was supposed to happen as there was a hole in the second plastic layer). The instructions say allow 48-72 hours to fully inflate, but I slept on mine the same night. Initially firm, but definitely not uncomfortable. Now that it’s puffed up a little bit more, I can say I’m overall happy with it! The springs are pretty rigid, so not a great bed for jumping on.
