I’d suggest applying it at night so the tan can develop while you sleep, and you can wash off the scent in the morning. Also, don’t forget to wash your hands after applying. If you're looking for a really noticeable tan it's probably not for you, but for me I've always had very pale skin, so just wanted a bit more colour in my face. There was a noticeable difference within about 4 days, my skin looked much healthier, without looking like I'd used fake tan. It may not have even been that apparent to others but definitely made me feel better. The only issue for me is that I also have quite oily skin, so there are areas of my face that I would never ordinarily apply moisturiser, but have had to use it on these areas to avoid the colour looking uneven. However, the moisturiser isn't overly greasy so this is just an issue for me rather than a drawback of the product. The reason I've knocked off a star is that the size bottle is quite small for £12, so it's pretty expensive for a "highstreet" brand. You only have to use a small amount but still it doesn't seem like it's going to last a long time, so using this daily over the longer term will be quite pricey.
