Regular palette paper has the slick layer on top and plain paper on the bottom, so the bottom gets wet and the paper warps while moisture can't penetrate the top layer; nor will the regular palette paper stay flat (I was taping it to the sides of the palette). I gave up and went back to the Masterson paper. **Q: Sponge is missing. Who do I contact?** A: Return and get a replacement sent. **Q: Bought another Masterson palette but the lid is warped and has feet (teeth) that stick in my paint - does this version do the same thing?** A: There are no feet on the cover. There is a ridge to give it a good seal. As long as your blob of paint isn’t up against the edges of the palette it shouldn’t be a problem.
