Review: Worth the purchase - I do a lot of spearfishing in very shark infested waters, shark bite capital of the world, Volusia County FL. I have had several encounters with Bull Sharks, with fish on a stringer and activity dispatching fish, the sharks will come in to investigate but soon turn away. I had a Bull Shark take my fish off my spear shaft will free diving, however the shark never came at me. I have several friend that spearfish with me, they don’t wear shark banz and have had to push or fight sharks off their stringers. Knock on something, I’ve never had a close call or a problem while wearing the banz. I have three and my wife and kids wear them while wearing spearfish, never had an issue. We see lots of sharks, but no issues. I plan on buying another one, another one of our kids is getting dive certified, he will be wearing it. Going snorkeling and hoping to see some.** A: i doubt it **Q: If you wear a race chip on the left ankle and this band on the right, would it interfere with race chip?** A: Luis, Great question. The real answer is only found in determining if the race chip is effected by magnetic polarity. If you have a compass near sharkbanz it will displace the polarity of the compass causing the needle to spin. I would confirm with race officials and bring the sharkbanz to a judge and test before the race.
