It has a good weight to it without being too heavy. The knit is tight so the fabric is not flimsy or shapeless. The ivory color is a soft color that's off-white and not a yellow. I thought it was lovely and went well with a couple of sleeveless dresses that I have and better than a stark white color. I thought the sizing ran smaller than normal. I ordered an XL but will now order a 2x.
