It has different colors and you can clearly see the moon and the stars. You can choose what colors (more than one can be selected at a time) can be used and it can even spin if you want it to. The only cons I noticed are the fact that the top is a little soft/fragile and that when it turns out makes a strange noise. Lucky for us my son doesn't like it spinning.
