Super glue isn't working well enough.** A: I sometimes use E6000 glue. It's not a instant bond glue, but it's very strong. I recommend small tubes of the glue so you don't have to worry about it drying out in the tube. I also like to roughen up the back of the pin pads with some sandpaper for extra grip. **Q: Will these work for needle felt brooches? I'm thinking they would make the brooch easier to attach to clothing. Standard brooch pins can be tricky** A: Assuming a felt backer, i would say Yes, if poked thru the backer and secured prior to the backer being affixed to the Brooch. with this in mind, a tack pin with a larger, maybe 10mm head, and a longer shank might work better. These Tack shanks have a 4.5mm head on a 8mm long shank. something with a 10mm head on a 8-10mm shank might work better, as most felt is 2-3mm thick. this is dependent on the backer material you use of course... **Q: Do these tacks leave holes in the fabric once they're removed? Tack pins I have used before have damaged the fabric.** A: I believe it depends on the fabric.
