Can it be used shorter than 110 cm?** A: I would not advise these poles for someone 5'3". I am 5'6" and use them at their minimum length. They cannot be used shorter than 110 cm. I suggest you look for women's poles. **Q: made in china?** A: Today I believe these products are made in the Czech Republic. I completed a Grand Canyon rim to rim trek in March of this year, through snow, ice and a lot of steep rock scrambling.
