It was located in front of the rear axle up by the body. it actually has a filter in it and also a sensor. It didn't take long to change it. That's all I can really tell you about it, good luck. **Q: warranty time** A: It depends on your driving habits. City driving has less dust the gravel roads. When you fill up with gasoline don't top off your tank. When the pump has has an auto shut off stop. Topping off the tank over fills and a small amount of gasoline can run out the over flow you and into this device and the dust gets in it.
