Upon opening the item out of the package, it was not as translucent as I thought it would be compared to the advertised picture and my blue gel mouse pad rest. In fact, it looks as if someone has used it. However, THE WRIST REST FEELS GREAT! That outweighs cosmetics. Hence the 4 stars. If the company would like to initiate an exchange, I am all for it.
