That is a very common size. **Q: Is the finish gloss?** A: No high gloss here.. in fact, the sides are dullish matte. This 3/4 size guitar shines in its weight and is delicate but loud enough to sing over the sound. It is a good sound from a smaller body. But plugged in will be as rich as you adjust it. Unplugged, It is not as loud as a full-size guitar. It is slightly softer. Perfect for dorms or small apartments with neighbors and thin walls. I have huge hands and yet it is easy to play. the sides are thinner so it is more comfortable and a perfect parlor guitar, or traveler. I have played for 50 years.. This is a treat to play and I still have the original strings on it.
