I double checked the website for trouble shooting and removed the face to check the funnel at the back. Some liquid was coming out, but no foam. I double checked the hoses to make sure they were not suctioning to the side. Still nothing. This was a huge let down and turns out is not returnable. So now we are stuck with a machine that does not work and several bottles of foam refills. Fomalanche User Trouble Shoot: Solution and water added into reservoir and machine turns on but no FOM? 1. While machine is on, take off the front plate of the machine by completing a quarter turn and see if liquid is being sprayed out of the “flute” looking nozzle in the back. If liquid is spraying out, try below solutions: A. Add front plate back on and wait 30 seconds. It is helpful to rub the front fabric to ensure it is saturated with solution. B. What ratio of water to concentrate, did you use? One included concentrate bag should be used in the reservoir at a time with the remainder of the reservoir being filled with water. If you bought a refill bottle, there should be at least 3fl oz used in the reservoir with the rest water. C. If above steps do not work then please contact info@fommania.com 2. Take off the front plate of the machine and see if liquid is being sprayed out of the back “flute” looking nozzle. If liquid is not spraying, try below solutions: A. If machine has been used before and is now not creating foam try to add pure hot water into reservoir and run the machine. The foam solution could be coagulated in the feed tube from previous use and the hot water should help clear the clog. B. Check the tube lengths coming out of the bottom of the machine. It is possible that the tube is too long and sucking against the reservoir wall. You can have the consumer try and cut the bottom of the tube at an angle to allow for the solution to flow easier. C. The price is significantly less than the other ones I saw on Amazon, and I was surprised at how well it worked. It made a TON of foam, with no problems. It was also shipped quickly. The only complaint I had is a design issue with the battery plate. In order to put the batteries in you need a long thin screwdriver to get the screws out for the battery cover plate. It took a little bit of work, and luckily we had a screwdriver on hand that would work.
