A friend there actually gave me one, as a gift, before I left, and it has hung in every car I've owned since then. So, I definitely am a fan of using an oil kind of diffuser idea, especially because you can pick exactly what scent you want, instead of just buy some pre-fab smell from a factory. I found a great company, a while back, called Modern Notes, and I really like a blend of their oils, but, sadly, they are no longer in business. I'm glad I bought a stash of their oils, before they vanished, but my supplies are down to my last few bottles, so, will have to find a new company with a new scent at some point. For now though, applying these oils to the felt pads in these very cool holders, and clipping them to the vents in my Bimmer, my car smells fantastic! Augments the little oil bottle hanging from my rear view mirror, and these look terrific. I was very impressed with the care and quality that goes into making these. They arrived in a plastic bag, inside of which was a well made little burlap type drawstring bag, containing a packet of 12 of the felt pieces and the diffusers themselves (which were each separately protected in small net drawstring bags). So, they were safe in transit, and upon setting them up, I see they are very well made, held shut firmly with magnets. The clips are solid, hold the diffuser in place firmly, plus they are coated so they don't scratch your vents. They honestly look great in the car, as much a decorative item as a functional aroma diffuser, so I couldn't be happier, and I hope this company has much success with their well-made and very effective line of products. I like to really use something for a bit before I write a review. The first picture is of the bag that everything came in. It had a little baggie of the disks (felt?) That go in and two blue net bags with the actual diffusers in them. I was impressed with the way everything was packaged. Perfect to give as a gift. I've been using them for the last few weeks and I'm impressed with the durability of them. The clip itself is also metal but coated so it won't scratch. You simply left the top and place the disk inside. It's very easy to open but stays closed. It's up to you as to how much oil to use I've used the second one inside the house on a vent. It works wonderful for a pick me up or if I want one room a certain scent. Placing a small fan in the bedroom and using eucalyptus when my allergies are wonky really helps me. These work so much better than the disposable auto air fresheners. I am able to control the type and strength of scent I want. If I have a cold, I might use peppermint. If I am stuck in traffic, lavender for calming. I can mix them up if I choose. There is no waste and the price is great. If you use essential oils I highly recommend this. They are beautiful and are very giftable. The steel and design on it are of very good quality. I hoped that the felt pads would hold the essential oil scent for longer. I have to continue adding more oil to it every time I enter the car. I don't exactly want to expose my essential oil bottles to intense cold or heat by keeping it in the car, so it's not as easy to use as I'd like.
