You need to add reinforcing, otherwise don't sit on it....
I'm compelled to write a review to let any prospective buyers of this. The entire cushion top is a wooden frame with flimsy intermediate supports. if you sit on the middle of the cushion, it caves in. This will absolutely not last long. I am adding some wooden supports below the cushion to stop this from happening.If there was a way to return this easily, I certainly would. As is the case with furniture that you assemble, its a pain to disassemble and return. I'll figure out a way to deal with this since I can build the wooden supports myself. For anyone else, I highly suggest passing on this one. Or, if you don't believe me, closely inspect the top before you unpack and start assembly. You will notice that its just a large cushion with no support. imagine sitting on that, and what would happen over time.... it will cave in.

Beautiful Chaise Lounge
Instructions easy to follow and to assemble chaise lounge. I purchase it for my walk in closet and it beyond beautiful. Highly recommend this product.
