I read the directions about getting the best seal, filled my mug halfway with water, put on one of the lids and held it upside down over my sink. Worked like a charm! No leaks! I tried the other lid and unfortunately it dripped. I followed the same procedure but was disappointed with the leaking.It was easy to contact the company because Barak emailed me the same day the lids arrived. All I had to do was respond to his email telling him the situation. Instead of having to return the leaking lid, he just sent me two new ones. They arrived in a few days and passed my leak test!I haven't field tested these lids yet, but am very happy to now have a complete seal on my mugs when I need it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ complete leak proof throughout the use. *by C***C on Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2018* Unfortunately, the lids rise up when encountering bumpy roads. We are trying to use on a motorcycle but they kept pushingup slowly...physics? Does not work to keep a drink secure.....disappointed...I brought this issue up with the supplier. Gave them a straight-forward review, for what we wantthem for. They offered a full refund.I told them it just did not work for our application, drinking a beverage while on a motorcycle, in the cup holder.It probably works for more stable conditions.Nothing against the company. They tried to make it right, but there is nothingthat can be done for what we want.Probably could work for sipping coffee/cocktails around a campfire, or barbeque pit.More stable conditions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost too good! *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2018* I poured hot coffee in to my RTIC (old model) mug and tried to close with this lid. And it eased back out almost immediately. First I thought it was because the rubber ring rolls out of the grove. Couple of days later I realized that it is just because the seal is perfect and it is the steam pressure pushes the lid out. Now I leave the snap seal a little open when I close the lid and it works perfectly.
