Review: Perfect Toys! - These Green Toys are absolutely the best, hands down! What's not to love? The minute you recieve one you relize the substantial and durable quality of them. They are easy to clean and I literally can not fathom any saftey hazards whatsoever with these toys (other than if the are used as a projectile, but that is the case with most toys that are not fabric, so obviously if there is a baby in the bunch with some older toddlers or so, you should still have your eyes on the kids). I love that they are all dishwasher safe for sterilizing. We have decided to keep all the Green Toys in a toy box in our main livingroom for 2 reasons. When we have company with children or playmates visiting, they can all just dive into these toys and we don't have the aggravation of my grandson's other toys being dragged out with multiple pieces, and those are not all small child safe, and we can not just throw them in the dishwasher afterwards as we can these. These are literally worry free toys when children are visiting (other than the aforementioned throwing, or maybe banging over the head, so yes you still must parent as we should be anyway). Second, after dinner, when there is just a small window of time for bath and playtime before bed, these are hassle free and the only toys we let him drag out because they are simple and easy pickup. BONUS, they are MADE IN THE USA, and of completely recycled materials. I have not seen that many quality toys like these other than ones made in the 1940's or so, where good craftsmanship (as these are) mattered, even in a toy. We have at least 2 dozen of these toys and they have become an awesome gift item especially when they go on sale, which is often. They are literally the PERFECT toys!

**Q: This is the second car hauler i've purchased. the gate ramp does not snap and hold. is this normal or a defect?  this is for both that i ordered.**
A: Just checked my grandson's truck.  The top ramp slides down and back up again.  I does not 'hold' while in the up position unless the lower ramp or door is closed.  That lower ramp, when folded up, holds the top ramp in place. The lower ramp sort of snaps into the truck.    I will say, however, it isn't a very 'tight' locking mechanism but it does hold the top ramp in.  Hope this helps.

**Q: Are Green Toys fair trade certified?**
A: I don’t believe that “fair trade certified” applies to toys. It’s a term usually used for food (like coffee and chocolate). Green toys are made from recycled #2 plastics and made in the US. They’re very nice toys. We have quite the collection.

**Q: Do the truck and trailor separate?**
A: Yes, the trailer does separate from the truck body.  My 3 year old Grandson loves playing with the truck and trailer.

**Q: Are there any small parts that a 1 year old could choke on?**
A: No. My son got it when he was 12 months old. While he was a little young for the ramp gate, the trailer separates from the cab and he was able to play with the cab and cars until he was ready to reconnect the trailer.

These Green Toys are absolutely the best, hands down! What's not to love? The minute you recieve one you relize the substantial and durable quality of them. They are easy to clean and I literally can not fathom any saftey hazards whatsoever with these toys (other than if the are used as a projectile, but that is the case with most toys that are not fabric, so obviously if there is a baby in the bunch with some older toddlers or so, you should still have your eyes on the kids). This is a cute and sturdy vehicle set for toddlers and up. It is all plastic and has no sharp edges. The truck cab is smaller than the Green Brand dump trucks I have but it's a good size. It says for ages 3 and up, but it doesn't appear to have any parts small enough to be a choking hazard. It's for a gift so I haven't taken it out of the box. It has good details and has two ramps for the cars to roll down. The three cars are different colors. I recently discovered the Green Brand toys and I like the ones I've seen.
