We do get high winds here and its done fine with those. I doubt (in my lifetime) we'll ever flooded enough to wash it away, and so far its handled hard rain and standing water. I don't have it anchored at all because it covers my sewer access, one of those big iron lids that when the sun heated it up it killed all the grass up to six inches away. City employees appreciate that they can access my sewer line easily without getting second degree burns from the lid. We also appreciate that its an attractive amendment replacing an iron lid and a wide circle of dead grass. **Q: Is it gry or brown** A: I would say beige. More brown than grey. **Q: what color is it? They also provide a nice clean, and more protected, area underneath which keep the actual lids cleaner. Giving five stars for the product but it is pricey IF paying full price. I got one cover from a warehouse deal (this one I am reviewing) for 1/3 of the regular price and it looks just as good as the full price one I also got.
