An excellent oral rinse for dry mouth that contains salivary enzymes is Salivea; these ingredients are very similar to the original Biotene with enzymes. **Q: Is it vegan and has not been tested on animals?** A: The bottle does not indicate whether or not the product is vegan or tested on animals. Remember: it is used as a mouth rents and is not to be swallowed per instructions on bottle. **Q: Does it contain fluoride? Do any of the dry mouth rinses?** A: Only found ACT Dry Mouth Anticavity Zero Alcohol Fluoride Mouthwash & Crest Moisturizing Alcohol Free Oral Rinse to have flouride. Husband doesn't like ACT, but unable to find the Crest ANYWHERE, though it has not been discontinued. Both of these products are for use twice a day after brushing teeth. **Q: Will this taste like spry oral rinse spearmint that also uses xylitol?** A: I don't taste spearmint. It's definitely not as good as Biotene. However, it works and is much cheaper.
