The batteries are placed close together, which is great -- it's more compact than any other similar device I've found. I put two 58Wh batteries on to make a 116Wh v-mount battery for cheap. Definitely a good deal.The connectors to the battery do not appear to be plated, but the v-mount connectors are.There is no d-tap connector on the adapter plate itself; the only way you get power out is via the v-mount connection. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Only rated for 5A.
