Would be nice if it was a working horn & not just a prop, but I am still very happy with it.

Good quality, but it’s reverse from the mounting in the show

This is such a fun find. My HIMYM fanatic friends are all very envious and asking me where to find a blue French horn of their own. It is obviously for display only, and it is only really half a horn, you could lay it flay on a table. My boyfriend was disappointed about it being half a horn, but I think it makes it a little easier to hang, or if you have a narrow shelf or mantle. This horn is larger, yet lighter than I expected it to be, and reasonably sturdy. So it looks good on the wall, it is easy to display and I don't worry about it falling. I am so happy to have found this thing. I think any HIMYM fan would be pleased.

I know, I know. I've seen the show too. While I thought "How I Met Your Mother" was a stupid show, I do know it's seminal and first episode is beloved by fans, mainly my gal. So, for her birthday, I got this, which I didn't know existed until I saw it on amazon. One side is flat - easy for wall mounting. She got the joke and it made her happy. Win win!
