Review: Fantastic toy that’d also be at home with the collector… - This is a fantastic toy that would also be right at home with adults who are fans of the show. Playmobil have done a fantastic job here, and it's clear that they got the right people to work on this project. I bought it for my daughter, who's watching a friend restore a KITT replica, so she wanted to have the same car as he's got. The presentation of the product is really well done, with a nice unboxing experience, a manual that contains a little information about the show, three characters, Devon's desk, Bonnie's work area, and of course, KITT - who talks! Playmobil have done such a good job here, just like they did with Doc Brown's DeLorean from Back to the Future. The only niggle we have is that it's sometimes difficult to get KITT to talk - mostly because the button you press to make him talk isn't really a button. We've found this a bit hit and miss, but overall this is a fantastic toy that pays a huge amount of respect to a classic show from the 80s. The fact that KITT can talk, has a detailed cockpit, and an animated scanner is just the icing on the cake. I was lucky enough to get this at a significant discount, at around £35. At the time I didn't realise it was discounted, but considered that a reasonable price for a (relatively) small toy. However, the normal price is significantly higher, and while I can understand why this is the case (Playmobil took a big gamble making a product that's in a bit of a niche), I find it hard to believe it'd be purchased just for kids alone at that price. The normal price of around £90 puts it squarely in the realm of collectors or those with money to burn. Having said all that though, it's a great product. Playmobil did a fantastic job (it's clear that whomever they got to work on this were huge fans of the show), and I have no regrets. Thank you for doing something different, Playmobil! Now all I need are Street Hawk and Airwolf!
Review: Great model replica to the iconic KITT - I've always wanted a model of KITT but all the 1:18 scale models out there are so expensive its probably cheaper to buy a real 1982 trans am for the greedy prices people are asking, But this model popped up recently and for the price you cant go wrong imo, not only do you get the car that is a very good faithful recreation, but you also get the cast members in cute figurines from the show, Overall i'm very happy and it brings back alot of childhood memories, Thank you Playmobil for doing such a great job on the model

**Q: What scale is the car? 1/12? Do 6 inch figures fit?**
A: No it is not big enough for 6 inch figures. The Playmobil figures that come with the set are 3 inches. I really enjoy my Knight Rider set and I have never been a big Playmobil fan. Loving the show as much as I do I took the plunge and bought it and I am glad I did.K.I.T.T. is a wonderful replica by itself. Hope this helps.

**Q: Why does this cost almost a hundred dollars? What about it is worth so much?**
A: It's a collectable. Alot of Knight Rider fans

**Q: Would you let a 6 year old play with is or is this an adult collectible only?**
A: If you give the car to a younger child I recommend not using the small parts that come with it due to easy loss or small enough to swallow. the figures and car are easily play worthy for a 6 year old child - the recommended age is 3 and up from playmobil

A: The doors do not open; however, the top comes off to take the figures in and out.
