Is just doesn't make any sense. Think about it. The cheapest and lousiest pet foods on the market usually calim 9 or 10% protein--and that's the really crummy stuff. How can this be 95% of [BLANK] meat and still add up to only 10% protein. It simply isn't possible. I think they're using the language to mis-represent what is actully in this food. And I think most people don't realize it. Possibly, what's really meant is that the meat that IS in the can is 95% of whichever meat it claims. But not that the can contaiins 95% of that meat, only that the small amount of meat it has in the can is made of 95% meat with the other 5% being water or some other ingredient (like fat, or a filler, etc.).
