I love the ease of using this item! I keep them in my diaper bag and use them while we are out to eat at a restaurant. It is helpful that I do not have to pack both a spoon and a fork, just ONE of these sporks! My two year old daughter has no trouble holding one of these in her little hand. AND they are easy to wipe clean after use at a restaurant.

I send my son off every week for a wilderness day and I tend to load his pack down with whatever extra clothes and extra gloves I deem necessary. I'm cutting back on this to bet his pack lighter as he survives week after week and is "JUST FINE, MOM!!". His pack IS pretty heavy so I'm cutting back on everything, this includes silverware for eating his lunch and these sporks are perfect. He had a plastic spork before that got lost somewhere in the mountains, (I imagine someone in the future finding it high in the mountains and wondering at the strange customs and silverware from long ago), but these are better because instead of having a dull edge at the edge of the fork, really limiting the spork to pasta and soup, there is a knife edge that is hard enough and sharp enough to cut food. The functional knife is probably the biggest difference from other camping sporks out there.Right now my son is using one of the sporks at a time, but my kids are getting old enough that I'm starting to get ambitious about backpacking with them. Whatever weight we can take off is helpful so I'm sure we'll use them for camping and backpacking in the Spring. I'm thinking I should send a couple off with my husband for work for his in-office lunches.The sporks are easy to wash and can be put in the dishwasher, they're brightly colored, and are made of a durable plastic that seems like it will hold up well over time. I'm not sure that the carrying case furthers the cause of lessening weight, but for straight up car camping it could help keep them together. My daughter took over the case to hold her pencils and various drawing supplies so for her it was a great bonus. I will likely buy another set when we start getting our camping supplies ready and I think it would be a good gift for the campers/backpackers in someone's life who already seems to have everything. I'd love to have them called runcible spoons instead of sporks, but that's probably from my reading the Owl and the Pussycat too many times to my kids!I got a discount to buy these in return for an honest no-strings-attached review and I think they're a great product. I love these sporks! They are made out of a more durable plastic than toss away plastic ware, making them strong, sturdy and are of good size. The first thing I noticed when I took them out of their neoprene zipper case is how pointy the fork is. It seemed really sharp but I didn't notice it to be an issue when I was eating with them. Actually I found the sharpness to be spot on! I used them tonight to eat grilled chicken breast and the fork didn't have any problem stabbing into the meat at all! I love the fact that one side of the fork is serrated as a knife. The only issue I came across with this is that you will either need to use another Spork to hold down the meat while you cut, or use your fingers. I just used my finger to hold the meat in place and cut it with the knife side. I was very impressed at how easily it cut through the meat. And even better, when you take a bit with the fork, the serrated edge doesn't hurt or cut your lips at all. I highly recommend these sporks! They would make a great addition to any camp gear, picnic, or packed lunch. In fact, I'd now say these are necessary for camping! I love these! Silverware for in a compact case, who can beat that. They are much better quality than the cheap plastic disposables, and you only need one piece, each one is a spoon, fork and knife. These would be great in a 72 hour evacuation kit. I'm thinking a set of these to keep in the car would be a great idea, sometimes I'd rather grab a little something to eat from a store rather than drive thru the fast food places and buy all that grease soaked stuff. These come in a nice zippered case which would be great if carrying them in the car, or wherever else you may choose to store them. These would be great for camping trips, and take up very little space. I would recommend these. I received this set at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

A great product for indoor and outdoor use, light plastic, easy to use and carry in small bag. Two in one saves having to Carry two items. Nice bright colours.
