Old ones popped off. Lined up new ones and with a firm press they popped into place. I gave them a little extra squeeze to get them to close tight (placed on carpet and put my heel onto it and gave it some of my weight).Held in place securely, showing no signs of coming off. Just taking a star off because they are slightly thicker than originals, and so the pen, tweezers and toothpick are a little trickier to get out, but not impossible. Gives you a slot for the "Champ 7cm presurized pen" (the Swiss card pen or the pen in 58mm Victorinox models will NOT fit these scales.) These scales will not fit 93mm Allox, 84mm or 58mm cellidor scale Victorinox models. Take care when fitting, study YouTube videos first, no great force needed. A 12 year old can do it. Use a piece of cloth to prevent scratches on scales. They are designed to only be fitted once, so your old scales will break as you remove them. Also gives you a slot for a small needle by the cork-screw. Make sure needle is not to big or it might wedge scale off. Needle is used for cleaning clogged front window squirting heads on your car.
