Washed them as soon as they arrived and had the kiddo in the water by the end of the day. Fit comfortably... Even more so than Swimmers or Splashes. Didn't bother him around the leg or waist at all. Not bulky and doesn't swell up like disposable swim diapers. Zero problems. Even our local YMCA approves of them. Super cute, the colors and patterns are super fun! They're really baggy on my son's behind, BUT they fit well around his waist and legs. They hold moisture in really well, I mean to the point that we put a cup of water in them while he was wearing them and it actually took a while to drain out, some of it actually just stayed in there.
