**Q: How deep is the center cut?**
A: The ones I received have 1/2 inch center cuts. The pad itself is about 1 3/8 inch from top to bottom.

**Q: does this fit over the jack cup or inside it?**
A: they go inside the jack cup.

**Q: Will it fit a compact jack with a pad 2 1/8"**
A: It will fit small Jack's. The pics make it look bigger than it is.

**Q: will this work on 2012 ford mustang convertible, 5.0 engine.?**
A: As long as it has a pinch weld under the rocker panel, as I believe it does, yes it will work.  The slot will fit over the pinch weld.

Works great at lifting your car by the bottom lip without damaging the car. You can also use it as a spacer when jacking up your car to give you a little more lift and prevent scratches. Basically it looks like an ice hockey puck with a notch cut out of it it. If I'm in need of a puck I could use it in a pinch.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must for modern cars

These "body pucks" save rail damage when placed on your floor jack and the "frame" of these modern cars. You know that; nothing new there. A friend lent me one to use when lifting a uniframe car and it made a big difference. These "pucks" are well built, and work fine. How long will they last? Don'ty know. Got 5 years out of the last tow I had from a different manufacturer. These look like a better quality than those. Needed them anyway. Why not.

Nice puck, it'll do the job.I consider it slighly oversized as it's a few mm to large to fit correctly on the jackstands when the stands are not under load. When under load, it does pop into place.Be prepared for the strong-ish 'plastic smell' upon receipt. I suggest keeping in your garage, or away from your car for a few days while that dissipates.Great that this is a 2 pack, so you can keep a spare somewhere. Happy with this purchase.
