(regular top mount ones will not work unless you remove the acog. it NEEDS to be mounted as far back as you can because the eye relief is almost nothing. so if you use flip us sights, the acog would have to be mounted too far forward to work. **Q: Do you've to switch the agog on for recticle to appear? Or is it stationary?** A: The acog uses fiber optics and tritium no batteries and the reticle is always there No switches or buttons Just windage and elevation adjustments Some acogs are battery operated and can be turned on and off **Q: What mount model is used for the rmr? This is a real Trijicon ACOG. Built in my home state by American workers and half the price they were not long ago. There is a reason the Marines put these on every AR-15 they issue. Tough, practical, lightweight and works every time. Easy to compensate for range on the fly and reflex sight is a death dot for anything on the move. So far I have stocked my freezer for the winter with fresh venison and taken out the army of red squirrels that were taking over my property using this scope. If I can hit a twitchy little red squirrel on the move I am confident enough to trust my life on it if ever needed for self defense. Don’t be fooled by wannabe ACOGs. Buy once, cry once.
