Two years ago, my house was painted with low VOC paint. I aired the house out every chance I got. However, It still smelled like paint when I came in the house from the garage or outdoors. In addition, if I was out of town for a week and kept all the windows closed, the house always smelled "stale" when I came home. I ran the V600 for about a week at 60% setting and the paint/stale smell was gone. I now run it on low setting and my house smells "fresh" when I come in from the garage or outside. My neighbor came over the other day and remarked about how nice it smelled in my house. ### ⭐ Nice product, annoying problem, wasted $750!!! *by A***T on November 8, 2015* I was excited to get this air filter and really like the look. Unfortunately it developed a rattling noise after only a couple of weeks of use. Now I am requesting a refund. I now have air filters in several rooms: I have an IQAir HeathPro, two Austin Air Healthmate+ Jrs and an Airpura v600. I think the Airpura works better than the others i have.
