This tool is a bit pricey, but it is large enough for adult goats and very sturdy. We banded three goats with this without any issues. It seemed like it took a week or so longer for the bits to fall off than when I used a smaller one on a smaller goat - the bands themselves that go with this bander seem a bit less tight than the bands I have previously used, but the end result was achieved, so all is well that ends well.

This product was easy to use, it was my first time and I was a bit nervous but it was fairly easy and the jewels fell off on day ten with no complications or problems.I do recommend getting this bander and also making sure you have anti septic spray to keep from infection and fly spray to keep flies off and you should be good. I also gave a tetanus shot 3-4 weeks before banding than another the day of banding.
