Very spacious pockets. I always order large because I hate trying things on and returning them, especially for something like this where the quality of the fit doesn't really matter. However, if you were genuinely in need of a large size I think you would be disappointed by these. They were an good fit on me as a UK size 14. Maybe I'm just a fatty in denial, but I wouldn't consider that to be 'extra large'. The finish quality can't be faulted however. All the seams are secure, and I expect these will last for ages. The material is also soft and comfortable, especially once they have been washed.
