I can mount it on my belt in a variety of ways. The lining protected the screen and my phone always feels secure. The only issue that I had was that while going through a narrow door, I hooked it on the jamb and the sewing let go on the vertical belt strap. It wasn't a very hard knock. This should be double stitched. I repaired it myself with poly thread and double stitched it. Better than new. Other than that, I love the case.
