The speed of the patterns can not change.  May be you can try to use "AUTO or PATTERN (RG) MODE",  They change slower than "SOUND MODE ".

**Q: Is it possible to make some special patterns stayed and not shinning?**
A: It didn't spin when I used it so yes

**Q: Can I leave it outdoors during Christmas? Is it waterproof?**
A: Yes, you can leave it outdoors and the unit has to be plugged in to operate with a USB cable , but it's not waterproof.

Party Lights Dj Disco Lights, Sound Activated Lights with Remote Control: Very fun light. Both red and green lasers are bright with fun patters. The only downside is that the light changes patterns every second that really gets annoying. Have not found a way to slow the pattern change time.
