I had cut them off to see if I could use on another doll. Unfortunately if you cut them off you are left with a hole in the middle of the doll's ear and the hearing aid isn't salvageable to try and put over the ear of another Barbie / Ken. **Q: This Barbie is very large and is not the same size as in the 60s, 70s, and even 80s. Are the classic Barbie sizes still available?** A: So…a few years ago now, they made multiple size bodies for the adult Barbies. If you want the 80s Barbie body for sewing vintage patterns, they have done re-releases of a few like Day-to-Night or Totally Hair.
