The standard QTips were too small and the cotton balls/pads too big to get into all the grooves. It’s bendy but I want a bit more control so I hold it closer to the head so it wasn’t an issue for me. With standard qtips I was messing up the back end with my hand when using the front end so this one being one sided worked for me too. Love the size and it works for both my labradoodle and my English lab. Most likely not for smaller dogs. Package was a bit hard to open so I clipped one side of it to have it easily accessible without spilling all the contents. So far so good. Wonderful product.
