But I prefer this slicer for the following reasons -- 1. Safety, there is no way you will cut yourself with this machine. But with Waring Pro, it can happen if you don't use the plastic protector 2. The blade can not be sharpened in Waring Pro, you can only replace with new one. But this one can be easily sharpened up. 3. Cleaning is slightly easier with this one. The only part that I feel can be improved is the instruction manual. Mostly it is good. However, the image explaining thickness adjustment contains Chinese still. But it is not a biggie. First, the mutton need to be prepared. You need to put unfrozen mutton into the plastic bag provided in the package and frozen it. Then it has the round shape and easy to hold by left hand and can be easily sliced. I found out the blade is not that hard, after several usage, it became blunt.
