**Q: If all I have is an empty hole in my mail slot door, will this kit give me everything I need to install the lock?**
A: This lock does not include the tailpiece that mounts on the back of the lock and is what turns to lock the mailbox door. That is sold separately and the part number is: CompX C7120. Thank you, NLS Products.

**Q: l need to buy the latch and the lock together?  The previous owner took everything with him.**
A: No, this lock does not include the latch.

It's odd that the seller would represent otherwise.

**Q: can the mailman open the lock**
A: I am a mailman. We have a key that open cluster boxes, but we do not have a master key that will open this lock.
