It just takes about 1 hour from start to finish. Just be sure to squeeze the leather together with your fingers while sewing and DON'T pull the thread beyond SNUG. OH!!! I replaced the original thread with some purple wax-coated leatherworking thread and it looks SICK. I installed this on my daughter's purple Nissan Cube that has a jacked-up steering wheel.
