It has healed but now it is time for the rebuilding of muscles from his arm being in a sling for a few weeks. If you look through resistance bands, there are just hundreds of different choices. I chose these because it comes with everything I need. It came with 5-Color Resistance Bands: Yellow (5 lbs), Green (10 lbs), Red (15 lbs), Blue (20 lbs), and Black (25 lbs), 2 Cushioned Handles, 1 Door Anchor, 2 Ankle Straps, a little workout sheet with pictures and a Carry Bag. Everything was inside the carry bag, for now we only use Green and 1 cushioned handle and the door anchor. I was one of those kids who hated gym: no strength, no speed, no coordination. No way I'm joining a gym. My exercise for years has consisted of walking or biking. But now I'm recovering from a leg injury with a bone bruise and torn ligaments -- no walking or biking. These bands give me a way to do *something* -- and it can be done while watching tv, or sitting down. You might have to loop the bands around a post to make them shorter, or hold onto a chair for balance, but this is the most versatile thing I've seen for increasing your strength without investing in heavy equipment or a gym membership. The handles are comfortable, the ankle bands are big enough, and being able to use a lighter band on the injured leg means I get something done without hurting myself. The carabiners mean you can easily switch between bands. I strongly advise against sitting on them though -- it rolled out from under my butt and snapped against my back hard enough I'm pretty sure I'm going to have bruises. It also got tangled in my hair -- so watch out if you've got long hair. I'm pretty happy with them though. If they last a year or more, I'll buy them again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great set of resistance bands *by N***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2017* These resistance bands are great! I previously purchased a different set and the bands ripped on me one by one. I've only had this set for a few weeks and haven't had any issues as of yet. The metal clips are a fantastic touch. I've used ones with plastic and have the plastic clips aren't the most reliable. The waterproof bag, ankle straps, and door anchor make it an incredible deal. At most I've used 3 bands at the same time totaling 45lbs (20.41kilograms) and haven't had an issue. The handles rotate with your hand as you lift reducing wrist/forearm strain. I'm 5'10" and the bands with the handles attached are a bit long for certain exercises (shrugs/shoulder rolls), but work well for most other exercises.
