After Woodinville Whiskey Co. empties their bourbon and rye whiskey barrels they refill with cane sugar. They put them away to age gracefully where they absorb all the delicious flavors from the barrel: vanilla, caramel, wood spice and best of all a hint of whiskey. 8.5 oz. Mix and muddle into your favorite cocktail, add to your favorite marinade, or whip up a sorbet. Green Trellis (created by John Ueding at Trellis Restaurant in Kirkland, WA) 3 slices of cucumber 10-12 mint leaves 1 ½ oz Headlong White Dog Whiskey or your favorite brand 1 oz apple cider (they used non-alcoholic, hard cider would also be tasty) ½ oz Woodinville Whiskey Simple Syrup Muddle the cucumber and mint in a cocktail shaker, and then add ice and other ingredients. Shake well, strain and serve up in a chilled cocktail glass.
