We've used it on one chicken, livestock guardian pup, and semi-domesticated/semi-feral cat who all suffered some kind of injury on our farm. We sprayed the med on their wounds, which they hated because of the smell and very, very bright purple color, but it kept their wounds from getting infected. For example, our hen was probably attacked by a fox and had a large piece of flesh hanging from her body. We thought for sure she was going to die, especially when the other chickens started pecking at her injury. We sprayed the med on her wound (which other chickens hated to go near because of the smell and color), let her rest for a week, and she was back to normal about a week or two later. It was a miracle! Warning, wear gloves when using this product. The med will stain, and you'll have bright purple color on your skin for a very long time.
