Review: seal better. - I have had mine for about 4 weeks now. It does not seal everything. Example: lettuces, tomato, bell peppers, and cold stew. Plus I wanted to make different size bags. I could not do that. So I was a little upset about that.
Review: Don't waist your money - Once if figured out how to use it it sucks down pretty tight. The instructions are confusing!!! I waisted 2 or 3 bags just trying to figure it out. It works fair if you seal something and put it in the freezer immediately. (Freezes b4 the air leaks out). However looking at items in the freezer reveals it lost some air prior to freezing. Last night I put a pork chop in the bag sucked it down and sealed it and put in the fridge. Went to get it out and it had lost all of the seal. I might as well put it in a zip lock bag.... The way you have to get both edges under the little guide for the vacuum is a pain. When you view the help video here on desertcart it shows you how to seal a potato chip bag.... Really. How about the expensive bags that come with it, that won't hold a seal. Waist of time calling customer service, as they were no help. Another cheap plastic item from China!!!! Beware!!! Fyi desertcart does not take the return so has to go to manufacturer. I won't hold my breath trying to get my money back. Another Chinese product headed for the trash bin!!!!

I believe KB's reply telling us about the 10.5" heat strip size over the manufacturers response. At the PowerXL website, marketing 101 in showing only one pic of the tiny picture of the cord. (on Amazon the pictures of the cord are pronounced, not so much at their website)

This product is having an identity crisis, because at 2/3rds the cost of this, $39.97 gets you an actual cordless vacuum sealer with no cord, battery operated. Amazon Asin # B09P53VPT6

Personally I've owned so many cheap vacuum sealers over the years, I finally purchased Foodsavers top tier vacuum sealer.  Did the buy once cry once routine.

**Q: How long does it take to heat up ?**
A: Doesn't take long to heat up, but it will not close - I don' t recommend it.

**Q: Where can you find 10" bags (not 8 or 11)?**
A: I returned mine. It didn't vacuum or seal. Good luck with the bag issue.

**Q: Can this unit seal regular ziplock bags if you cut the top off?**
A: Did not tried that but it sells bags ot chips,frozen fries and more

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice food sealer

I was a bit hesitant to buy the Power XL sealer based on the reviews, but my experience has been so much better than some of those reviews. As soon as I opened the box I had to try the unit out. Very easy to operate, and my first attempt to seal went super. Now I've used the seal/vacuum feature several times on meat, chicken and other items to keep them ready to use while in the freezer.
