However, the instruction book was written in extremely poor English, and contained inaccurate instructions for updating the maps. I contacted the manufacturer twice, and the first time they gave me a link to the map updates. We downloaded the updates and still couldn't load them on the device. I e-mailed the manufacturer again and got this answer: "The new map is still in negotiation, please be patient and wait for some time, and then ask about the details of the map update." Since we're going to the UK very soon, I could not wait for them to get their maps out of negotiation. There ARE UK maps preloaded - you just can't update them. The maps don't include Ireland. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ If not for the documentation.... *by S***7 on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2017* The GPS works extremely well. I would have given it 5 stars if the documentation were better. I have used it here in Colorado for two days and am very impressed with the features. It picked up 11 of 13 available satellites. The GPS even knows the speed limits for the section of road you are traveling and will warn you if you are speeding (this can be turned off). I strongly encourage any new customers to learn to use this device before you leave on your trip. It does take time to figure out all the features and how to use it properly. I bought memory so that's not the issue.
