The outlet part from the pool restricts flow to a 10-12mm opening. So you have 32/38mm hoses forcing water through a 10-12mm opening. Painfully crazy2. The outlet from the open close mechanism does accept treaded adaptors - just not the ones most pools have as they are made for a combo of thread + seal through the inner pipe. Again just painfully crazy.3. IF you manage to get everything hooked up it stick out so far from your pool that the hose stabiliser part is under immense load.This is NOT a suitable product for anything IMHO. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes Life So Much Easier *by M***S on Reviewed in Canada on 6 June 2023* Works so much easier to shut off water supply when changing/cleaning filter. Had Intex 637 cartridge filter pump before and was a disaster trying to plug the intake/output with kids rubber toy balls to do any sort of maintenance. Do yourself a favor, move away from the paper cartridge filters and pump and get this kit to upgrade the hoses to 1.5" along with a sand filter pump. Only draw back is the cheap plastic clamps, they don't do anything.
