The adapter sleeve can come loose when removing the batteries, but it snaps back in place just as the batteries snap in when charging. Otherwise, this set works flawlessly and as advertised. Tested using a Sony HDR-CX230 HD HandyCam. I charged both batteries to full capacity and then set the camera to record and let it continue recording until the battery fully died. So on a cost comparison, this was the obvious choice. I read a review that said the batteries are difficult to insert into the charger.
