My preference for them lies strongly in two things. #1) They do not retain any moisture. This is great for any form of water contact or sweat, which means they will not mildew or grow mold resulting in a horrible stench like cotton and nylon watch bands do. #2) Metal mesh watch band's durability dramatically exceeds rubberized and nylon watch bands. I've had far too many rubberized watch bands get a small tear just to shortly after rip completely in half. As for nylon any cuts in them at all and they begin to fray losing any professional appearance if you were trying to maintain one. This particular metal mesh watch band goes two steps further than any other I've had in the past. First, you can immediately tell this is a more heavy duty mesh of metal than other metal mesh bands and from my first touch I can't help but think that they put the mesh through an extensive tumbling or extensive sandblasting in order for it to have such a soft and rounded feel across it's entire length. Well, I think it looks pretty good. Time will tell how it wears. It’s very easy to adjust the length, you do need a small screw driver. It’s a little awkward buckling it on your wrist. It does feel plenty secure. In fact I am finding it difficult to unsnap the latch to take the watch off. Will see if that gets easier. Anyhow I think it’s a good value as long as I get some decent use out of it.
